We started Velocode to build software the way experienced engineers know it should be built — with teams sized to the problem, not to a spreadsheet. From focused product squads to enterprise delivery groups, the expertise stays constant.
Velocode Solutions was founded by engineers who spent the last two decades building inside product companies, large consultancies, government programmes, and the occasional ambitious startup. We saw the same pattern again and again: the work that moved the needle was done by teams with the right expertise and the right size for the problem.
We built the studio around that observation. Every engagement is led by engineers with deep domain experience. Team size is set by what the work actually needs — a two-person squad for a focused MVP, a twenty-strong delivery group for an enterprise rollout or public-sector programme.
Our team has shipped production software for fintechs, developer-tools companies, regulated healthcare products, government portals, and pre-revenue startups alike. We’ve carried pagers. We’ve paid down technical debt we didn’t create. We’ve navigated procurement processes measured in months.
That’s the experience we bring to every engagement — whether it’s a weekend architecture review, a ten-week MVP, or a multi-year enterprise delivery. Same standards, right-sized team.
Sofia overlaps comfortably with the full EU working day, most of London, and the US East Coast morning. Real-time collaboration, not asynchronous ping-pong.
A twenty-year-old engineering ecosystem built around SAP, VMware, and dozens of deep-tech startups. Finding the right hire here means picking up the phone, not posting on LinkedIn.
Contracts under EU law, GDPR as a default, straightforward invoicing for EU clients, and no surprises around data residency or employment.
Every engineer on our team works in English as a first professional language. Code reviews, documentation, and client calls — no translation layer.
If we think the feature you’re asking for is the wrong one, you’ll hear it. The goal is the business outcome, not closing tickets.
Clear day-rates, a fixed scope, and a weekly update on where the budget stands. Change-of-scope conversations happen before the work, not after.
Everything is committed to your repository. No “staging repos” we hand over at the end. No licensed frameworks you’d have to keep paying us for.
Most of our work comes from clients we shipped something for two years ago. If something breaks, or you need a new version, you know where to find us.
